Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is seeking a Data Center Systems Specialist to join our Data Center team, which is responsible for the management and support of our onsite data centers, hosting over 5,000 multi-vendor IT devices across a 2MW power footprint. This team is responsible for executing deployments and change in a dynamic mission critical data center along with ensuring our business critical systems are operating at a high performance level.

In this role, you will:

  • You will gain hands on experience with a broad range of technologies including networking, telecommunications, security, server hardware and software, as well as various tools used to manage the environments.
  • You will own and troubleshoot issues that arise,
  • Partner with our engineering teams to quickly implement a solution, when an escalation arises.

The current opening is on our midday/evening shift from 12:00pm - 10:30pm.

What we're looking for

  • 1+ years of experience in a technical field support, systems administration, data center or related technical position required
  • Windows and networking knowledge required; basic knowledge of Linux/Unix preferred
  • Experience with server and/or networking installations, implementations and/or deployments required
  • Ability to troubleshoot systems and applications in a timely manner required
  • Understanding of critical IT facilities infrastructure and structured cabling
  • Basic scripting experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Enterprise monitoring, backup, and scheduling platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or other technical discipline preferred

Primary Requirements:

  • Ability to work the midday/evening shift from 12:00pm - 10:30pm.
  • Strong understanding of technology fundamentals in a critical infrastructure environment
