*Job Summary:*
The intent of this job description is to provide a summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed in this job. Incumbents may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
Reporting to the Director,* *Business Intelligence, the Senior Business Intelligence Specialist is responsible for creating reports, visualizations, dashboards, and metrics that provide business insight and aid business decision-making. Assists in requirements analysis, data analysis, data mapping, report development & testing, report modifications and documentation. Determines and develops strategy and framework for consistent report standards.

* Elicit and understand requirements from the business to develop and deliver operational reports and/or analytic data models that support daily business operations, business intelligence dashboards, subject area analysis, and statistical analysis.
* Provide front-end development, delivery and support of business intelligence and analytical solutions.
* Develop interactive and insightful Power BI visualizations and stories that are easily understood.
* Identify data quality issues and see through to resolution. Test and validate data flow and reports.
* Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.

*Required education and experience: *The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
*Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:*

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
* Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business-related field required.

*Minimum Experience Required:*

* Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in business intelligence and dashboard development.
* Experience with Power BI or Tableau required.
* Experience with Snowflake required.
* High proficiency with SQL required.
* Prior experience with complex healthcare data preferred.

*Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required:*

* Direct experience with Snowflake SQL Server preferred
* Proficient with Power Query, DAX and MDX for complex data projects.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other data analytics tools.
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge and experience in performing complex data analysis and preparing reports.
* Knowledge of practice management and electronic health record (EHR) systems; prior experience with Epic and Athena preferred.
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills, including the ability to effectively assess and manage priorities.
* Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.

*Travel:* 10%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
