Job Description

Clarivate ITS Network Services is seeking a voice engineer with experience in design and deployment of unified communications platforms in a global enterprise. Clarivate is a cloud-first environment and the ideal candidate will have extensive experience with hosted collaboration systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary technical advisor on the preparation, planning, design, implementation, integration, and operation of hosted collaboration systems.
  • Work with hosted collaboration system vendors for the deployment and operation of voice, video, instant messaging and presence, mobile remote access, conferencing, and contact center
  • Work directly with the enterprise network team to ensure availability and quality of service of systems
  • Responsible for all aspects of the collaboration infrastructure including standards, design, technical integration, DR/Failover process, and technology recommendations
  • Provide troubleshooting support for a complex enterprise collaboration environment
  • Work cooperatively with other senior engineering resources to maintain and revise technical standards and documentation as part of a unified strategy
  • Participate in the development of SOP/MOP repository and runbooks for day to day repeatable work
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving problem areas in a proactive way and developing solutions to meet the challenges in the converged network environment
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams of network and security architects, server and platform engineers, and data center operations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on unified communications experience
  • Expert-level knowledge of UC network communications protocols
  • Experience working with telecommunication carriers in a global environment
  • Experience designing and implementing voice solutions
  • Experience with Cisco WebEx and Spark
  • Familiarity with Contact Center environments
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • CCNP Collaboration certification is preferred
