Our rapidly growing Acquisition Strategy team is searching for a Sr. Manager, Acquisition Strategy who will be an integral part in ensuring we efficiently execute on strategic initiatives required to deliver on our new member growth targets. They will be the lead on all new market, product, and channel expansion opportunities and will oversee all go-to-market efforts across the business. They will be a thought partner on new strategic initiatives that will drive incremental sales volume and increase value of acquired accounts. This role is meant to be the key collaborator for our sales leaders and cross-functional departments. How you’ll help: 
  1. Go-To-Market Execution - Lead new market, product, and channel expansion for all acquisition channels and products (natural gas and electric). 
  2. Cross Functional Collaboration - Manage cross-functional communication and collaboration efforts for acquisition strategy initiatives (project management as needed). 
  3. Strategic Roadmap - Prioritize stakeholder requests and incorporate them into the acquisition strategy roadmap for 2022. Document technical requirements for new acquisition strategy efforts and partner with Acquisition Services to implement.
  4. Financial Planning & Performance Management - Own incentive/promotion budget for new acquisition volume (electric and natural gas).  Identify new initiatives and opportunities to increase new member growth, improve efficiency, and increase value.
Some Year 1 Deliverables:
  • Coordinate and deliver new offer strategy implementation for existing channels, markets, and products (examples: natural gas subscription; fixed trial). 
  • Manage the expansion of the natural gas footprint into additional markets (PA, NJ, IL) and expand to additional channels (DM, Digital). 
  • Launch new sales optimization efforts (lead generation pilot, CCA partnerships, etc). 
  • Support Digital and Direct Mail acquisition strategy to scale channels to ~30k sales throughout 2022. 
  • Create an offer strategy promotion calendar for the rest of 2022 across all acquisition channels.
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table: Non-negotiables:
  • Project Management - Experience managing projects and can hold people accountable and manage a project plan. 
  • Strategic Prioritization - Ability to groom requests from stakeholders and prioritize resources and efforts on requests that will have the biggest impact. 
  • Institutional knowledge - understands how to best launch new products, new markets and what the requirements are at Inspire.
  • Intermediate+ experience with Google Suite; confidence independently creating charts and graphs.
Nice to have: 
  • Sales Experience - has worked on a sales team or has directly sold something before. 
  • Business Story-telling - ability to present a narrative and generate buy-in across the business for a recommendation. 
  • Financial Planning - exposure to P&L management in the past. 
  • Experience in the renewable energy industry, specifically deregulated energy.
