As a Sr. IT Support Specialist, you will help teams collaborate effortlessly and provide quality support to our employees, including on-site for our Santa Monica, CA location. This role will be critical to ensuring we maintain the best functional tools and highest security standards. We solve problems on the fly and look for scalable solutions. We look to automate and future-proof the work we do so that we can focus on the road ahead of us. You will be given the opportunity to help improve our existing IT functions and educate employees with our technology. You are an excellent communicator with impressive technical chops.   • Provide level 2-3 support and maintain company help desk to provide quality service with quick turn around
  • On-site technical support as needed (AV conferencing, printers, event setup)
  • Investigate and resolve endpoint security issues
  • Backup support to our IT team with possible after-hours coverage
  • Administration and troubleshooting of company Mac/Windows, BYOD, peripherals. SaaS applications/integrations, network, and IDP
  • Maintenance of company MDM solution and patch management
  • Manage and audit user access to our company’s critical software infrastructure
  • Scaling company wide cybersecurity initiatives, policies, and IT related projects
  • Partner with Security/Compliance experts to ensure effective corrective action solutions/plans are updated
  • Support on/off boarding of employees and procurement orders
  • Cross functional collaboration
  • Attend trainings and assist where needed
Some Year 1 Deliverables:
  • (MDM ) Mobile Device Management solution expansion
  • BYOD program expansion
  • Okta rollout and application integrations
  • Shell onboarding 
  • Device refresh and inventory cleanup
  • Implement standard operating procedures around IT systems and process
  • Carryout security and compliance initiatives
  • Implement automated processes around help desk support and on/offboarding
  • Implement self serve support and automated knowledge base
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
  • Must Have
    • 3-4 years experience performing IT Support and using help desk ticketing systems
    • Experience managing Mac, PC, iOS, and Android devices
    • 3+ years network experience, i,.e VPN, firewalls, TCP/IP, Meraki, Ubiquiti
    • Proficient in Google Workspace, Office 365, Sharepoint, Slack, Envoy, video conferencing, and other collaborative tools
    • Experience using IDM, SSO, MFA with Okta or similar
    • Experience using MDM solutions, such as Jamf, Apple DEP, intune
    • Experience tracking hardware assets and procurement
    • Experience supporting project phases such as, deployments and testing
    • On/Off boarding of employee accounts and resources
    • 3+ years using corporate endpoint security solutions, email security, and DLP
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
    • Excellent communicator, detail oriented, and customer service focused
  • Nice to Have
    • Active Directory, Azure AD
    • AWS and Heroku exposure
    • Familiar with project management tools
    • VoIP experience
    • Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti 
    • Windows Server, Linux
    • Coding experience, i.e Python, Bash, Powershell
    • Security certifications, i.e Security + 
    • Familiar with company compliance (SOC 2, PCI, ISO, NIST)
