Linode is looking for junior full stack software developers to help us build public facing APIs and open source single page apps used by customers like Dark Sky, The Onion and developers like you around the world. These systems are used to manage hundreds of thousands of Linodes running in our global datacenter network.
If that sounds exciting, then Linode may be the place for you.
Our work environment fosters innovative solutions, rapid development cycles and open communication. Because our core technologies are Linux-based, familiarity with Linux is a big plus.
We’re a closely knit team with a focus on agile development and innovative solutions. We encourage and reward curiosity, ingenuity, and technical excellence. If you enjoy working on ambitious projects that have a big impact, you’ll enjoy working at Linode!
You don’t have to have experience with all of these, but you should have experience with some of them and an interest to learn others
Work With Us
Founded in 2003, Linode is a leading cloud hosting provider with 600,000 customers worldwide served out of eight global data centers. Linode invests heavily in its people and has set the bar for excellence in the cloud hosting industry. Our customer service, development, ops, hardware, marketing, and documentation teams are all part of making Linode the most simple, powerful and reliable hosting provider. This industry moves fast, but we’re committed to hiring the kind of people who can stay a step ahead and keep us – and themselves – at the top.
Even if you’ve never heard of Linode, one of the world’s first and largest open source-focused cloud hosting providers, you likely frequent a website or use an application that wouldn’t exist without it.
With a platform that boasts nearly half a million users around the world and growing, it might come as a surprise that Linode is based in Haddonfield, New Jersey — though the company will call Philadelphia home when it moves into its new headquarters on 3rd and Arch Streets later this year.
It wouldn’t be the first surprise Linode has to offer.
Though the company is, by all means, a major tech player, its growth has been organic and its values have not changed. There aren’t many layers between engineers and C-level executives, feedback is always taken seriously and the impact employees have on the company, its customers and the Linode community is visible on a day-to-day basis.
Fostering a supportive environment is a big part of Linode’s company culture and the backbone of the work the company does. The team is passionate about solving problems and helping people, and as a result, professional growth at Linode is bound only by individual ambitions.
As one employee put it, “There’s no ceiling here.”
Linode has never stopped looking for new tech talent, and they’ll continue to look for new teammates as the company and its online community continue to grow.
