POSITION SUMMARY

As the Field Sales Channel Manager, you will be the responsible for ensuring that of our field sales channel partners are successful and run as smoothly as possible on a day-to-day basis. This person will maintain communication with third-party sales representatives and managers across a sales channel focused on in-person acquisition of residential consumers. A successful candidate will be extremely results-oriented and a fluid communicator, as you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external teams.  The ideal person is passionate about their sales career, motivated, and has a genuine interest in clean energy, individual growth, and sales relationships. This candidate will have a strong drive to evolve and execute sales processes, handle reporting needs, and will provide support on effective communication from entry-level employees to senior leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and grow relationships with direct marketing/sales partners.
  • Motivate partners to achieve sales performance and quality through communication and education of best practices.
  • Visit offices and personally spend time in the field selling to build excitement about Inspire by interacting with sales reps and managers.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets for assigned channel
  • Work with field sales partners to drive high-quality sales results through training, auditing sales processes and providing feedback to sales teams.
  • Provide direct support to the front lines in the field as needed with information about the company’s products or questions about sales practices and policies.
  • Aid in the research of any customer feedback or complaints, and work with the Member Experience, Sales Quality & Training teams on any coaching and/or corrective measures.
  • Support the growth and launches of new sales offices and training of new representatives.
  • Become an Inspire product expert and consistently reinforce the Inspire value proposition and mission.
  • Manage all expenses to sales budget; achieve cost per sale and cost of acquisition targets
  • Provide competitive and other field related feedback such as sales activity, product and price intelligence

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of relevant sales, business development, or relationship management experience;  BA or BS from a college or university preferred
  • Results-oriented, organized, and avid problem-solver
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate; a true team player
  • Experience in direct outside sales, training and/or managing third party sales relationships
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the work week to maintain partner relations
