Systems Engineer

*System EngineerPhiladelphia, PA (Hybrid – On-site 3 days/week)HybridOverview:*We are seeking a skilled *System Engineer* to support a large-scale enterprise environment with a focus on both Linux and Windows systems. This role involves a combination of infrastructure management, application support, and cybersecurity tool integration. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in maintaining stable and secure systems. *Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for Linux and Windows server environments.
* Perform application-level support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
* Manage patching schedules and ensure systems are regularly updated to meet security compliance.
* Support and maintain cybersecurity tools such as *CyberArk*, *Splunk*, and *Tripwire*.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system-related issues and support enterprise IT initiatives.
* Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts, and take appropriate action to resolve issues.

*Required Skills:*
* 5–7 years of experience in a systems engineering role within a large enterprise.
* Hands-on experience with *Linux and Windows Server* administration.
* Familiarity with *application support* in an enterprise environment.
* Proficiency in *patch management* and system hardening.
* Experience with cybersecurity and monitoring tools:
* *CyberArk*
* *Splunk*
* *Tripwire*
* Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Experience in regulated or critical infrastructure environments.
* Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes.
* Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) is a plus.

*Work Environment:*
* Hybrid schedule requiring *3 days per week on-site* in *Philadelphia, PA*.
