We have embraced the move to cloud architecture and are looking for a Senior QA and DevOps Manager to join us on our Global Client Account Services (GCAS) team.
Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA and DevOps Manager with 10+ years of hands-on QA (manual and automation testing) experience, 5+ years of DevOps experience in the cloud environment, and 5+ years of experience managing Agile teams. Experience with standing up automation frameworks and script development, in addition to ensuing proper testing coverage is in place, is a must. Experience with standing up and maintaining various cloud-based environments is required as well. You will:
- Lead the team of QA and DevOps engineers in an Agile environment
- Lead the development of the automated testing framework for multiple teams
- Provide technical oversight for manual and automation script development
- Provide technical oversight for DevOps activities across development, test, stage and production cloud-based environments
- Lead CI/CD activities, ensuring incorporation of security-related checks within the process
- Lead QA activities for websites, microservices and data-centric efforts
- Participate in setting the strategic business direction, working with business owners and leadership teams
- Participate in setting the strategic technology direction, working with other internal groups, including architecture and enterprise security to ensure alignment with enterprise technology direction and standards
- Coach, mentor and develop team members, while continuing to build a high-performing team
- Provide project management oversight
- Focus on delivery quality across all programs within GCAS
- Provide technical oversight and expertise to drive cloud-based solutions
Requirements
- Ten-plus years of hands-on QA (manual and automation testing) experience
- Five-plus years of DevOps experience in the cloud environment
- Five-plus years of experience managing Agile teams
- Experience with testing websites, microservices and data centric efforts
- Eight-plus years of experience with Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, Cucumber and other automation tools
- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, Git, Jenkins and other DevOps tools
- Five-plus years of Javascript experience
- Experience with AWS
- Significant experience in talent development and retention
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Significant experience in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting cloud and micro-service, based solutions
- Ability to come up to speed quickly on new technologies and staying abreast of industry trends
- Experience working directly with business partners at the executive level
- Experience designing and delivering flexible solutions to meet competing demands of multiple consumers
- Knowledge of financial and/or data systems
