The Full-Stack Developer will assess and apply new, innovative technologies that support the organizations goals and objectives, with the ability to bring ideas to life, from the drawing board to a reality in a store utilizing expertise in various IT functions. As a self-starter, the Full-Stack Developer should have the ability to work within the team framework or independently, under loosely-defined and rapidly evolving requirements. They will leverage vendors and their technologies to bring new and innovative ideas into in our organization.

Responsibilities:

Other general responsibilities include the gathering of requirements, completing proof-of-concept work, testing, and field work on systems, and submitting documentation and analysis of projects during pilot to support the decision making process.

  • Support a fast paced, results driven, engineering culture focusing on Experimentation and Innovation.
  • Work with business partners to prototype ideas that showcase new capabilities and what is possible with iOS and Android technology.
  • Excel in an agile environment that iterates rapidly, applying critical problem solving skills to bring solutions to market quickly
  • Maintain regular communications both written and oral regarding project status, problems, and goals to key stakeholders, including IT teams, management, and business partners.

Leadership and Project Management

  • Act as peer leader in technical situations with iOS and Android technology.
  • Demonstrate ability to influence decisions and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders as well as mentor junior engineers/interns.
  • Manage small project timelines with vendors to ensure deliverables meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or appropriate related field preferred.
  • Work experience in related field required & experience with enterprise applications: iOS and Android.
  • Background in coding, engineering, or network/security and deep understanding in one of the focus areas.
  • Ability to problem solve and apply critical thinking to problems in a loose requirements environment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
