Money Map Press is looking for an detail-oriented, tech-savvy Junior Project Manager to join their team! You’ll be a part of a highly specialized and talented group of web professionals and they will involve and include you on major decisions. Responsibilities

  • Monitoring dedicated queues and assign tickets to appropriate resources for troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Monitoring dedicated queues to ensure SLAs are maintained. Assigning the tickets which are out of scope to appropriate teams.
  • Ensuring associated ticket requests are related to the parent ticket and proper follow-up is performed once incident is resolved.
  • Complete monthly end-to-end and exploratory testing for add-ons and upgrades to custom applications or software.
  • Document standards, guidelines and standard operating procedures for administrators and users of the system.
  • Identify any potential quality issues per defined processes and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
  • Perform recurring audits and recommend ways to clean up implementation, expand usage of workflows and automation tools.
  • Ensure that stakeholder requests and vision are properly communicated and deliver expected results.
  • As project deliverables are completed, ensure delivery teams are given documentation and expectations.
  • Ensure all project documentation, meeting notes and timelines are documented in Confluence.
  • Generate and update requirements, user stories, priority, business impact and recommended start dates for in-queue projects.
  • Provide manager with a weekly report of in-progress projects with statuses.
  • Analyze numbers and forecast timelines, account for churn.
  • Be ready to report on project status formally and on-the-fly.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or a related field.
  • Experience working with customer technology and support requirements.
  • Experience working with SLAs.
  • Strong time management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills; verbal and non-verbal communication, listening, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, assertiveness.
  • Ability to be productive in a dynamic work environment; well organized, show initiative, identify mistakes/inefficiencies, and accept responsibility for issues and their resolution.
  • Working knowledge of OneLogin or WordPress is not required but is a plus.

Expectations

  • 30 days: Awareness of all open work stack and automation projects assigned to Project Lead. Have basic understanding of reporting needs for each project.
  • 60 days: Maintain documentation and meeting notes for project deliverables. Assist Project Lead in writing requirements and use cases. Collect project impact stats at the end of each project.
  • 90 days: Full ownership of maintaining project backlogs. Guide request process from conception to release under direction from Project Lead. Communicate and plan delivery of requests with Project Lead and delivery teams in weekly team meetings.
  • 180 days: Facilitate work done between request and delivery teams. Responsible for making sure request and delivery teams meet the expectations of Project Lead.
  • 365 days: Advise, organize, and plan the product strategy logistics. Oversee the development process leading up to the release date and define all post-deployment tasks needed to complete each request. Establish repeatable processes to keep pulse on closed projects.
