Are you working with messy qualitative data? Are you considering doing so and want to learn more? This session is for you.
As a leading expert with extensive experience in publishing qualitative research, Dr. Paula Jarzabkowski will demystify the processes of transforming rich, messy qualitative data into a cohesive first paper submission. The session offers tips from collecting field data to theorizing about the data. We will explore the how and why of writing a thick description, early first coding, how to move codes to more thematic categories, and get behind the labels of inductive and abductive coding to what doing them means in practice.
