Join hundreds of entrepreneurs, ecosystem builders and place-based marketers for the annual Builders Conference hosted by Technical.ly, the country’s leading ecosystem storytelling newsroom. We expect more than 30 states to be represented.

In 2026, we’ll gather in Philadelphia — the birthplace of American independence — to explore how storytelling powers entrepreneurship, workforce development and economic mobility. This year’s conference coincides with the nation’s 250th anniversary, offering a fitting backdrop for a conversation about how local innovators are shaping the next 250 years of opportunity.

Early registration is now open. Space is limited.

Planned agenda:

  • Wednesday, May 6: Opening reception
  • Thursday, May 7: Full day of programming, evening reception
  • Friday, May 8: Half-day of programming, innovation tours and then a spectacle, with the return of our Guinness-certified world’s largest video game

Call for speakers: share your story before Thanksgiving

We’re now accepting session proposals from founders, storytellers, policymakers, educators and ecosystem builders for our May 2026 conference.

We’re especially looking for:

  • Founder fishbowls — real talk and best practices among early-stage entrepreneurs
  • Tool workshops — storytelling aids and new tech (including AI)
  • Strategy sessions — how storytelling strengthens entrepreneurship, workforce and economic development efforts

Submit your session idea by Nov. 27, 2025.
