Here’s an interesting event for the VR enthusiast — a panel discussion and demo focused on how virtual reality may change storytelling.
The folks connected with STORY, an events series launched in 2015, will host a discussion on VR and storytelling on Tuesday, May 10, at the Interface Media Group offices in Dupont Circle. The event will take a look into the unique creative potential of VR, both from the perspective of people working with it and through a hands-on demo.
The panel will feature Cameron Blake, senior VR producer at the Washington Post, Jennifer Cortner, VP of partnerships at Discovery Communications’ own in-house agency and Will Summers, a VR 360 designer at Interface Media Group Creative Services.
Together, this diverse set of people will take on “how VR may change how we come to look at story and storytelling,” according to the event page.
Tickets are required for this one — you can snag them here.
