Two seniors at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, Lucas Winch and Kelly Khare, are semifinalists in the Intel Science Talent Search, a “pre-college science competition” in which 300 students nationwide are announced as semifinalists each year.
Winch and Khare are both competing for a chance to be finalists and win the top prize of $100,000.
According to Baltimore Fishbowl:
Both Khare and Winch are students of The Ingenuity Project, Baltimore City’s fast-track public school program for excellence in math and science.
