Did you hear the news? Technical.ly is teaming up with Geekadelphia and our sister brand Generocity for this year’s Philly Geek Awards. Now in its sixth year, the consistently sold-out celebration of Philly’s geekdom has a new look, and Technical.ly is playing a big role.
This partnership brings together local media are in the community to celebrate the best homegrown efforts in Philly tech, entrepreneurship, impact, arts, culture and the sciences. You can read more about the partnership over on Geekadelphia.
This year’s awards are taking place Sunday, Oct. 16 at the Free Library of Philadelphia. Technical.ly is excited to join one of our city’s most anticipated annual events, and to bring together these overlapping communities of technologist, nerds and do-gooders for a better, more inclusive Philly Geek Awards.

  • Multimedia Project of the Year
  • Scientist of the Year
  • Mission Leader of the Year
  • Impact Organization of the Year
  • Partnership of the Year
  • Movement of the Year

  • Technologist of the Year
  • Game of the Year
  • Dev Product of the Year
  • Geek of the Year — the biggest award of the night, where we will hail one overall geek that best represents the Geekadelphia, Generocity and Technical.ly communities
