The completion of the fiber ring in Georgetown is fast approaching, and that’ll be a topic of conversation at the Sussex Broadband Working Group’s next meeting Feb. 18.
The meeting will be from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at the Sussex County Emergency Operations Training Center.

In addition to status updates on broadband projects, the meeting will also include a discussion about possibly writing a letter to the Cool & Connected program to request broadband planning assistance. The program is a USDA and EPA initiative that involves a team of experts working with communities to develop strategies for using broadband services in the best way possible.
