Are you or someone in your family heading to college in the next few years? Think getting into the college you want on scholarships (and no long-term debt!) is impossible? You could use help from Pam Andrews, aka the Scholarship Shark.
In 2016, Andrews’ son entered his first year of college after winning over $700,000 in college scholarships. She had been so successful — and friends were so interested in knowing how they did it — that she was inspired to turn helping people secure scholarships into a business.  To date, Scholarship Shark students have secured over $1,000,000 in scholarships. (It sounds a bit like the Scholly origin myth.)
The Scholarship Shark summer workshop series is a four-part journey:

  • Monday, July 31, 7:00-9:00 p.m. “Crafting a Personal Statement Essay”
  • Wednesday, Aug. 2, 7:00-9:00 p.m. “What Does Leadership Look Like”
  • Monday, Aug. 7, 7:00-9:00 p.m. “Applying for Big Money Scholarships”
  • Wednesday, Aug. 9, 7:00-9:00 p.m. “Creating a Strong Online Brand and Why It Matters”

The workshops cost $49 per student and are packed with actionable lessons that move students one step closer to getting into college and winning scholarships.
All workshops will be held at 1313 Innovation (1313 N. Market St., Wilmington).
