Rev your engines, ladies. On Oct. 20, entrepreneur Patrice Banks, founder of the Girls Auto Clinic and author of the Girls Auto Clinic Glove Box Guide, will come to the lower atrium of 1313 Market St. to offer advice on entrepreneurship, sign copies of her book and give tips on car repair.
Banks, a graduate of Lehigh University’s Material Engineering program and Delaware Technical Community College’s Automotive program, aims to make auto repair less intimidating for women.
The event runs from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Registration is not required. Come early, though — the first 100 guests will receive a swag bag.
