This week, NPR is dropping the mic and using Twitter to depict a different story on technology and entrepreneurship in the U.S.
The NoMa-headquartered organization has selected 24 technologists and founders from various backgrounds to live-tweet a day of their working lives.
Among them are three D.C.-area figures: Stephanie Hill, VP at Lockheed Martin’s Ship & Aviation Systems. She took to the Twitters on Monday:
.@BrianBrackeen – similar stories. I fell in love with STEM when I took a programming class by accident @UMBC #RaceOnTech
— Stephanie C. Hill (@AccidentalEngr) July 13, 2015
On Tuesday, catch Eastern Foundry cofounder Andrew Chang:
Today I'm putting on my other hat as a Company Commander in the Army Reserves down in Fort Stewart, GA #RaceOnTech
— Andrew Chang (@andrewychang) July 14, 2015
On Wednesday, follow the testimony of Viviana Hurtado, the founder of the Wise Latina Club.
And there’s more. To follow the national conversation, check out #RaceOnTech.
