The Maryland STEM Festival is now underway

The collection of education-focused events runs until Nov. 15.

The first Maryland STEM Festival begins Friday, and runs through Nov. 15. It’s a collection of 300 events across the state looking to promote education in the technical realm.
Baltimore city is host to 66 events throughout the festival, according to its website. Activities range from hands-on educational vents at the Maryland Science Center and Maryland Zoo to chances for high school kids to learn about existing spaces like the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology (IMET) and BUGSS.

One of the busiest days is Saturday, Nov. 14. During the day, the Maryland STEM Festival will be held at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Later on, the Baltimore Robotics Center will host RoboCEO, where students who compete in robotics teams will coach executives on how to build robots.
