Kids are invited to the next BaltoMSDN meetup

The group is set offer some coding training on Aug. 23.

BaltoMSDN is dedicating its August meetup to the younger generation.
The monthly Microsoft developer meeting is offering a coding education session with “Teach Your Kid to Code.” The Aug. 23 event will be held at the Baltimore Robotics Club at 2032 Greenspring Dr. in Timonium.
According to the group’s meetup page, participants are invited to bring their children are invited for a full session with education on tools such as SmallBasic, Robot C, Construct2 and perhaps even some drone programming with Tynker.
The presentation is being led by 9th grader Katherine Mullin and her father (and meetup organizer) Ed Mullin.
“Concepts such as variables, conditionals, loops, and functions will be covered while we introduce object oriented concepts without any of the confusing words,” the event description states.
