Calling all high school students, parents/guardians and educator: This event is for you (and it’s free).
Technical.ly is partnering with Innovation / Outreach to bring you the I/O Tech Fest: A festival of interactive demos that will showcase what a potential future in STEM may look like. Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 2.
Developed by Zip Code Wilmington, Innovation / Outreach is a first-in-kind youth coding movement that aims to empower future technologists in Delaware through engaging curriculum, supports for schools and educators and growing work-based learning opportunities that can lead to internships and career opportunities for Delaware youth.
Ultimately, Innovation / Outreach’s movement aims to create technologists who will live and work in Delaware and increase the diversity of talent in the local tech community through partnerships with high schools and community program in Delaware.
Specially designed for students and guardians, at I/O Tech Fest you’ll be able to play with locally designed video games, robotics and more. Think you know what a career in STEM looks like? Think again.
(Plus, lunch is on us!)
