It’s a testament to the success of the University of Delaware Horn Program in Entrepreneurship that its name is everywhere in Delaware’s startup community. Young startups like Carvertise, TheraV (formerly Vibrating Therapeutic Apparel), GeoSwap and BookBandit are among the startups to come out of the program, which primarily serves college-age entrepreneurs but also reaches into the high school ranks.

This month, Horn celebrates five years of launching startups in Delaware, with an Ice Cream Social (which might sound kind of pedestrian until you remember that UD has its own Horn-partnered dairy and ice cream business, UDairy Creamery) and Happy Hour, featuring a brand-new custom ice cream flavor, Entrepreneur Chip. (Get it?)
The event will take place at UD’s Venture Development Center from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. It’s a free event, but registration is required.
