Girl Develop It, the international network of technology classes for women, has launched in Bucks County.
Led by veteran technologist Lulu Murphy, the group will cater to women in both Bucks County and New Jersey’s Mercer County, which includes Princeton. Classes will take place in Wrightstown, Murphy said.
Murphy, who lives in Washington Crossing, has a master’s degree in Computer Information Technology from Penn.
The Philly chapter of Girl Develop It launched in 2011. The Meetup group now has more than 1,300 members and several Girl Develop It students are now working in technology.
