D.C. is certainly not light on events celebrating and discussing diversity in tech these days. But if you’re looking for one good such event this week — check out this one General Assembly is hosting.
Moderated by Jamal Simmons, the panel will feature Elizabeth Lindsey of Byte Back, Andy Shallal of Busboys and Poets, Rachel Spivey of Google, Steven Jumper and Priyanka Komala. It’s an all-star lineup that will be able to address the topic of diversity and technology from a bunch of different perspectives — education, entrepreneurship, hiring and more.
RSVPCome to hear “how diversity is transforming technology” (and, vice versa, how tech is changing such communities), stay to learn what these leaders think is coming in the future. The event is free and will be held at GA’s 8th floor campus at 1776 on 15th Street.
