Future workforce? (Photo by Tajha Chappellet-Lanier)

Now that robots are roaming our very own streets, what does automation mean for the future of work? It’s a very big question, and one a lot of smart people are tackling, in one form or another (and also not-so-smart people, apparently).

G. Nagesh Rao, chief technologist at the U.S. Small Business Administration and David Bray, CIO of the FCC, are teaming up to bring one such conversation to D.C.

The event is scheduled for April 11 at the American Association for the Advancement of Science HQ downtown. It is also intended as a welcome event for a new cohort of Eisenhower Fellows — a program Rao himself was a part of.

The interactive conversation will feature Dr. Shirley Malcom from the AAAS, Dr. Eric Fossum from Dartmouth College and Sarah Koch from the Case Foundation.
