For the second consecutive year, and for the first year in Baltimore, bloggers between the ages of five and 18 will have a weekend crash-course in blogging, digital media and graphic design.
The Digital Family Summit is this weekend from Oct. 11 through Oct. 13. More than 15 sessions for kids and families are planned, with hands-on workshops run by university professors and professional bloggers. Most of the workshops are for children between ages 9 and 18, although there are sessions for children aged 5 to 9.
More about the Digital Family Summit, as well as registration, is found here.
Last year’s summit was held in Philadelphia. This year’s Digital Family Summit takes place at the Hilton Baltimore near the Inner Harbor. According to a press release, “sessions include hands-on workshops, inspirational keynotes by prominent blogging teens, parents, and internet experts, plus panel discussions about some hot-button topics for parents and kids alike.”
