This list has a bunch of career-building resources for women technologists, but in case you were looking for a more IRL option, there’s an event happening Sept. 13 you may want to check out.

ChickTech Philly, the local chapter of a national networking group, is hosting a talk called “Bridging the Gap: Workforce Readiness for Women in Tech,” featuring three women technologists from Philly companies.

Hear from Lauren Dickstein, VP of Product Strategy at Jornaya; Felicite Moorman, CEO at StratIS; and Tabatha Simpson, a full-stack cloud application developer, software quality engineer and SharePoint admin for Clean Earth.

“We’re not going to be just talking about the wage gap, but also the skills gap we sometimes see for women within the tech space,” said organizer Sarah Herrmann. “We also want to talk about some of the struggles companies face both attracting and retaining women and hear about how some companies have been successful at this.”
