Meet the award-winning civic hackers at the Academy at Palumbo.

Watch the video that explains the project here.

It was their winning submission to a STEM competition called Samsung Solve for Tomorrow. The students won the statewide competition in December and were chosen as one of 15 national finalists. Now they’re competing for the national prize. If they’re one of five national finalists, they’ll travel to Washington, D.C. for an awards assembly.

Vote for them here.

The Academy at Palumbo is also raising money for a makerspace.
