Technical.ly is a news organization that connects and challenges a community of technologists and entrepreneurs who are invested in where they live.

We enthusiastically believe that innovation can come from anyone anywhere to ensure all communities thrive, and we do that by sharing stories of innovation economies and creating connections within our community of technologists, entrepreneurs, company culture builders and ecosystem builders. We regularly report in Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Delaware and other cities, and create opportunities for our readers to gather and learn through custom curated events and our annual programming during Philly Tech Week.

Founded in Philadelphia in 2009 by Christopher Wink, Brian James Kirk and Sean Blanda, our parent company Technically Media has always prioritized serving communities by informing and connecting people, with special preference toward advancing their careers. The company started by reporting on local entrepreneurship, technology and innovation with what became Technical.ly.
