This Week in Jobs DE: You good?

Just checkin’ in, folks.

Editor’s note: Every week we ship an email newsletter featuring the region’s most exciting career opportunities. We’ve lovingly called it This Week in Jobs (aka TWIJ — “twidge”). Below is this week’s edition; it’s meant to live in your inbox. Sign up for the newsletter here.

Last time we talked …

When TWIJ last popped into your inbox, Hurricane Ida was just brewing and 676 hadn’t spent a few days underwater as a makeshift Venetian canal. This led to some Twitter-worthy moments, like public awe of all the debris that arrived on our shores. Quite possibly the (cringe-inducing) star of the show was one through-and-through Philadelphian, who took the, err, fresh water as a chance to show off his diving skills on the 22nd Street Bridge. Unfortunately, the wreckage also led to serious damage around the region.

Accordingly, I just wanted to see how you’re all doing after a hectic week. Our submerged highway led to some interesting conversations in Technical.ly’s public Slack channel about how extreme weather events make us feel about the ~future~ (for more community conversations like this, join our Slack here). In the meantime, we hope you all had a refreshing Labor Day and are ready to dive into some exciting job opps.
