It’s Pride Month. Here are some ways to celebrate in Delaware

The LGBTQ celebration isn't fully back to its pre-pandemic glory yet, but there are still things to do this month, in person and online.

The Delaware Pride Festival in Dover won’t be until Oct. 2 this year — and Philly’s won’t be until Labor Day weekend. But with COVID-19 restrictions significantly decreased for vaccinated Delawareans, there will be some in-person events.

And, as always, many Pride-friendly establishments such as Stitch House Brewery in downtown Wilmington are fully open, displaying the rainbow Delaware sticker:

If you don’t want to miss out on bigger Pride festivities in June, the nearest Pride festival is Baltimore Pride happening June 13 through 20, including the Pride parade on June 19 — which will be streamed if you can’t make it in person — as well as other in-person and virtual events.

If you want to stick to virtual events for now, NYC Pride is offering a variety of virtual experiences, including a Human Rights Conference, Pride film festival, Youth Pride, a family movie night and the Virtual Rally.
