Looking for entry-level tech employees? Connect with Tech Impact grads at this virtual hiring fair

Tech Impact‘s Opportunity Fair has a new batch of grads trained in Oracle, CCNA, Java, project management, digital literacy, CompTIA A+, Net+ and ITF ready to be interviewed.

If you’re hiring, you can claim a free virtual booth for interviewing such candidates one-on-one at the Opportunity Fair on Thursday, May 20, from 2 to 6 p.m.

The graduates attending the Opportunity Fair were trained via ITWorks, as well as IT training and certification programs under Forward Delaware — the state’s rapid workforce training and redeployment training initiative funded by federal CARES Act funds — and its free training courses in April through America’s Promise funding in partnership with Delaware Technical Community College and Delaware Department of Labor. They’re all designed to help Delaware create a strong and diverse tech talent pool.

ITWorks is the free, 16-week tech certification course for people aged 18 to 26 who have a completed high school and do not have a bachelor’s degree. It has a long track record with over 500 graduates in Philadelphia, Wilmington and Las Vegas. Courses are held twice a year. Apply for the next cohort here.
