New Castle County Open for Business resource event returns Jan. 28

The county's Chamber of Commerce is offering another free virtual event for aspiring business owners.

Small businesses owners and entrepreneurs both new and established and looking for growth, here’s an opportunity to learn about business resources available to you in New Castle County.

New Castle County Chamber of Commerce’s New Castle County Open for Business series returns on Thursday, Jan. 28, at 10 a.m. This free virtual event will help businesses in the county find support via live conversations with representatives from various organizations, agencies and resource providers that assist aspiring and small business owners.

The webinar will cover:

  • Landing a government contract
  • Securing a loan or grant
  • Meeting state regulatory requirements
  • Finding free mentorship

Among the resource partners for this event are Delaware Small Business Development Center, True Access (formerly the First State Loan Fund), Emerging Enterprise Center, Procurement Technical Assistance Center of Delaware, Delaware Manufacturing Extension Partnership and SCORE Delaware.
