All sessions are presented by a Zip Code team member and have limited space. The sessions, all held on Wednesday evenings, are:

  • Aug. 19, 6:30 to 7 p.m. — Transitioning into Tech
Geared toward jobseekers that do not have a computer science degree or come from an industry outside of tech, this workshop shows that some tech positions may be more accessible than people think, with insight and tips on how to transition into the field of technology.
  • Aug. 26, 6:30 to 7 p.m. — Ace the Virtual Interview!
Advice on how to prepare for a virtual tech interview, including how to present your elevator pitch, perfect your answers to challenging questions and clearly communicate why you’re the best person for the job.
  • Sept. 2, 6:30 to 7 p.m. — Tackling the Whiteboard
The whiteboard portion of a tech interview allows you to show what you know by testing your communication and problem solving skills. This workshop offers effective tips to help you tackle the whiteboard while getting real-time practice problem solving.
