DECO, Wilmington’s downtown food hall in the DuPont Building, is getting its first new tenant since it launched last April: Stu and Sammies, a soup and sandwich deli with a menu by Makers Alley chef James Sparks. It’s set to open this Wednesday, Jan. 22.
Sadly, that means the eight-stall hall is losing a tenant as well. Owners of the Indian street food stall The Verandah, owned by Amit and Radhika Sule, closed at 2 p.m. this Friday.
If you’re a fan of The Burger Joint, which has been operating DECO’s pop-up space in conjunction with Federale Tacos for the past few months, here’s good news: It has renewed its lease and will be launching a new menu next week, introducing stuffed burgers and salads.
DECO is also launching new indoor entertainment options, including ping pong and cornhole, and will even offer adult competitive ping pong and cornhole leagues through Delaware Sports Leagues.
Other offerings you may have missed include Geeks Who Drink Trivia on Mondays, free yoga class by CoreTen Fitness on the second Thursday of every month, and karaoke every other Friday.-30-
