If you’re looking for an affordable way to polish your marketing skills and earn professional development certificates, the New Castle Chamber of Commerce’s Emerging Enterprise Center (EEC) and Goldey-Beacom College have launched a four-part professional development curriculum geared toward members of the business community.
Each quarter, a different program will be offered:
- Q1: Marketing
- Q2: Sales
- Q3: Financial reporting and budgeting
- Q4: Customer relations
Each program will include three parts: a video presentation, a 90-minute in-person workshop and a roundtable discussion. Each program costs $50, or you can sign up for all four for $150.
This quarter starts with a free video presentation by Dr. Dan Young, head of Goldey-Beacom’s business administration doctorate program, on five major topics in marketing.
In February, Young will lead a live training session on what you need to consider and plan for in real-life market scenarios. The roundtable discussion, held in March, will focus on implementing marketing within your respective organization.
The initial video can be seen on the EEC website and below. Enroll for future sessions by Jan. 22 by contacting NCCC’s Erica Crell at email@example.com.
