The holiday season is in full swing, which it means it’s almost time for the INtheSpirit: A Holiday Party for Wilmington Families IN Need at The Mill — one part fundraising for the community, one part networking and one part last-minute shopping from local artists and vendors at the Mill Marketplace. This year, it will be held on Friday, Dec. 20, from 6 to 10 p.m.

The party started in 2017, when INWilmington partnered with The Mill for an event open to the community to benefit Wilmington families in need identified by Christ Church and the Christina Cultural Arts Center. It was a hit, and has become an annual tradition, this year benefiting West End Neighborhood House and Year Up Wilmington.

As always, the party is free with a toy for the toy drive valued at $10 or a $10 donation, which you can make in advance via Eventbrite.

Once you’re in, enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres, and music by Evangelina Guajardo, who will also be selling vegan treats as part of The Mill Marketplace at the Evangelina’s Vegan Desserts table.

Other local Marketplace vendors will include:

  • Delaware Originals
  • Double Spiral Chocolate
  • Shah Jannele
  • LolahSoul
  • The Fancy Plants
  • Artemis Hunt
  • Delaware Theatre Company
  • Sadiddy hippie
  • Mind Body Spirit Healing Room
  • The Works of Katastrophe
