Then you might want to head to Dogfish Head’s Chesapeake & Maine on Thursday, Nov. 14 for the event “Drink Better Beer and Eat with Bryan & Josh,” an evening of food and beer pairings, a beer cocktail tasting and musings from Dogfish Head Brewing Ambassador Bryan Selders and one of the nation’s top beer journalists and author of the new book “Drink Better Beer,” Joshua M. Bernstein.
The event includes five small plate courses, each paired with a Dogfish Head ale (or two), with a beer cocktail made with Dogfish Head Distillery whiskey for the dessert course. This dishes, including Ocean City seared scallops over a fall orchard salad and Wild Maine blueberry cobbler with house-churned vanilla ice cream, follow the restaurant’s Mid-Atlantic/New England theme.
The whole thing plus a copy of Bernstein’s book (which retails for $24.95) is $50 per person, which sounds like a steal. To check out the full menu and buy tickets, click here.
