Coderrific Academy, the extracurricular coding classes started by pharmacist and Wilmington University MBA graduate Jonathan Adly in April, has outgrown the Newark Community Center.

With the fall classes packed with waiting lists, the school has announced plans to open a new location in the Prestbury Square building in Newark that will allow Coderrific Academy to offer classes seven days a week, with full-time operations starting on Oct. 30.

“The opening of the new location is an important step in our growth and would allow for a significant room in our capacity” said Joseph Soryal, CTO of Coderrific Academy.

Coderrific currently offers virtual and IRL coding classes for kids ages 7 to 15 years old, where students from all over the world can learn, along with Delaware’s students, how to build computer programs, mobile apps and websites.

Classes include Scratch, Java Script, HTML/CSS, Python and Java.
