The term “food porn” is passé (almost as passé as the term passé), but the impact of a really good photo of food is as strong as it ever was. And there’s nowhere digital deliciousness has more impact than Instagram.
We searched IG for the best Delaware eatery food photography and found that when it comes to social media marketing, a lot of local restaurants and pubs are not messing around.

This fast casual eatery from the folks who brought you Wilmington Green Box has its own stunning plant-based menu.

Honey Bee Kitchen and Market
The Trolley Square shop sells fresh organic veggies and other local goodies — and its IG is full of ideas on how to use them.
Limestone BBQ and Bourbon
The photos are straightforward, decisively lacking things like artistic angles and pops of color. It doesn’t matter. The BBQ speaks for itself.
La Fia Bistro
This popular downtown Wilmington eatery makes the most basic rustic dishes look elevated.
Bardea
One of Wilmington’s most high-class restaurants (our own James Beard finalist) has a high class IG to go with it, complete with magazine-quality pics.
Stitch House Brewery
Stitch House always seems to have something new to offer, and its IG keeps followers on top of it.

Catherine Rooney’s
There are two types of food Instagrams: The ones that tempt you with healthy dishes that are almost too pretty to eat, and the ones that pop up on your feed like a devil on your shoulder whispering “live a little.” Irish pub Rooney’s in Trolley Square falls in the latter category. Spectacularly.
