Keeping with its open discussion format, the Wilmington History Society will focus on entrepreneurship for its April event on Wednesday the 17th at Chelsea Tavern’s private basement bar.

WHS cofounder Nathan Field will host Ryan Venderlic, resident of the Hedgeville neighborhood, who spent several years helping people start businesses in Kenya as a member of the Peace Corps before moving to Wilmington, where he works for Junior Achievement and continues to support entrepreneurship.

Venderlic will talk about entrepreneurship promotion as a tool for the city’s redevelopment and lead a group discussion.

The free event starts at 6 p.m. with a happy hour (presentation starts at 6:30) and ends with networking a drinks at 7:30.
