Urban Float franchisees Carlos and Amy Casas just opened their floatation therapy spa in Rehoboth in February, and they’re already getting a huge boost — the Washington state-based founders of the company are going to be on “Shark Tank” this weekend, Delaware Business Times (DBT) reports.
Floatation therapy involves taking a 60-minute rest in a sensory-managed pod filled with 10 inches of purified water and epsom salts.
Expect the Urban Float founders Joe Beaudry and Scott Swerland to center their pitch to the Sharks on mental and physical benefits for busy, stressed out entrepreneurs and corporate execs. Their pitch will air during the March 17 episode.
The Rehoboth Urban Float is the only one of the East Coast, located in the Ocean Atlantic Plaza Shopping Center on Coastal Highway.
