It’s all about female entrepreneurs at Goldey-Beacom’s first TEDx Talk event

In a first for the business college, six entrepreneurs will present TED Talks on campus on Jan. 30.

Goldey-Beacom College in Pike Creek is holding its inaugural TEDx event, “Women in Entrepreneurship,” on Wednesday, Jan. 30 from 5:30-7:30 p.m at the Goldey-Beacom campus on Limestone Road.

Known as TEDxGBC, the two-hour salon will include talks from some of Delaware’s top influencers:

  • Beth Allen, Owner of DIY HIP Chicks
  • Alina Christenbury, Research Fellow at the University of Delaware Virtual Reality Lab
  • Yolanda Keels-Walker, Founder and CEO of Business Babes
  • Cat Lindroth, Founder and CEO of Summer Collab, Dual School, and Social Contract
  • Angela Jo Manieri, CEO and Founder of I AM Center Stage
  • Melanie George Smith, President and Founder of Sustainable World Strategies
