You may know the Tapp Network from its monthly Tapp Socials at The Mill, its work on the annual The Millennial Summit and the group’s webinars. Now Tapp has moved into interactive education courses for present and future nonprofit professionals.

The first course, hosted by the California-based tech support network for nonprofits, TechSoup, launched in September. Led by Tapp’s CMO Collie Turner and cofounder Kyle Barkins, the on-demand online course includes several live events where students can interact with the experts and ask questions.

Unlike Tapp’s webinar series, the deep-dive TechSoup course isn’t free. “[The cost] can be a lot for a nonprofit — I wanted to make sure that we really offered a lot of value,” said Turner.

So far, the course has been a success, with nonprofits from all over the world interacting with Turner and Barkins during their first live event. “It was so awesome,” Turner said.

Tapp Network plans to continue doing TechSoup courses, including one about how nonprofits can navigate the opioid crisis.
