The construction industry is ever-evolving — the tools and systems used to make new buildings have become more and more high-tech.

One of the technologies that has a growing impact on construction (not to mention pretty much every other industry eventually, according to some predictions) is drones, which can save time and increase safety.

“Drones in Construction” will be presented by EDIS, Bancroft and BPG, hosted by Technology Forum Delaware and held at Wilmington University, which recently launched a new drone certification program.

The event will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 17 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at WilmU’s Pratt Student Center. Registration is $40 ($25 for Tech Forum members).
