We launched membership — a $12-a-month club for individuals who want more engagement with the community and our newsroom — a few months ago.

In Philly, members have enjoyed exclusive happy hours and lots of local perks. Here in Delaware, we’re still building up the benefits, but right now is a great time to join if you’ve been considering going to the 2018 Entrepreneurial Summit at the Doubletree on Concord Pike.

The Thursday, July 12 event is a full-day summit with two tracks (technical/science and general entrepreneurship) that features speakers taking on startup-related topics, a resource tabletop expo and a keynote from Chuck Nunan of Harvest Ridge Winery, with an appropriate price tag of $95 (or $80, if you’re a New Castle County Chamber of Commerce member).

If you become a Technical.ly member today, you can purchase a ticket to the Summit for just $50. This is a time-sensitive perk: The registration cutoff is tomorrow, Wednesday, July 11, at 10 a.m.

Members also get free tickets to The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, which happens to have a really cool gaming exhibition going on through Sept. 3.

In addition to special offers and discounts, memberships also include a members-only newsletter, invitations to annual members-only events, VIP access to select Technical.ly events, the opportunity to be featured in member spotlight articles and our famous Membership Mixtape.
