On June 30, Americans nationwide will protest the Trump Administration’s zero tolerance immigration policy — these coordinated events are also known as Families Belong Together demonstrations.

The executive order signed by Donald Trump on June 20 (at least temporarily) ended systematic separation of parents from their children. However, the administration’s draconian immigration measures, which require the arrest of all unprocessed asylum seekers crossing the border, still stands.

“The executive order that Donald Trump signed today is not a solution to the crisis created by his administration; it keeps kids imprisoned indefinitely, and doesn’t reunite thousands of separated families,” said a statement on the website for Families Belong Together, which is supported by organizations including the ACLU and the National Domestic Workers Alliance. “But it does show the administration is reacting to public pressure, so we will continue to increase our pressure for justice at hundreds of events on Saturday, June 30, to say that families belong together — and free.”

Like other national demonstrations, the main rally will be held in Washington, D.C., with over 600 supporting localized rallies in all 50 states and Puerto Rico, as well as in Canada, the U.K., and Germany.

If you want to join the demonstration in Delaware, here are the details:

  • Wilmington: Demonstrators will meet at Cool Springs Park at 10 a.m., and will march to the State Government Building at 820 N. French St.
  • Dover: Rally will take place at Legislative Mall, starting at noon.
