DCAD wants to talk about downtown

The June 27 event is part town-hall, part mixer — a good chance to hear from city leaders.

The Downtown Wilmington Meet & Greet falls somewhere between a town hall and a networking mixer.

The June 27 event will bring together Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki, Downtown Visions, City Police Chief Robert J. Tracy and Jean Dahlgren, the new Delaware College of Art and Design (DCAD) president, for an evening of discussion about the downtown area.

Get yourself heard, or listen and learn about some of the new things going on in the city.

This free public event starts at 5 p.m. at DCAD (600 N. Market St.) and wraps up at 7. Complimentary light food and drink will be provided.
